The QD-21 terminal current transmitter is specifically engineered for precise current sensing within the 0–15A range. This targeted capacity makes it highly suitable for low-current branches, light-load equipment circuits, and auxiliary power monitoring where standard high-current sensors often lack the necessary resolution. When monitoring small loads, using an oversized transmitter can lead to inaccu
n automated control systems, timing is a critical factor for operational stability. The QD-21 current transmitter features a fast response time of less than 100 milliseconds, ensuring that the monitoring system can accurately track rapid load start-stop events and sudden current fluctuations with minimal delay. Fast feedback is essential in low-current circuits, where brief operational changes might indicate a device switching state, a process transition, or an emerging abnormal load condition such as a motor jam or valve blockage.
Unlike traditional through-hole sensors that require cables to be threaded through a central aperture, the QD-21 utilizes IN+ and IN- terminals for direct current input. This design significantly reduces installation constraints related to wire thickness, bending radius, and limited cabinet space. The conductor can be wired straight into the transmitter alongside other DIN-rail or panel-mounted terminal devices, facilitating a highly compact and orderly control cabinet layout.
