QDX50A Differential Pressure Transmitter
Dual-port Differential Pressure Measurement Measures pressure difference between two points. Ideal for filters, pipe sections and level conversion applications QDX50A measures the pressure difference between two points through separate high- and low-pressure connections. This allows the transmitter to monitor conditions such as pressure drop across a filter, difference between two pipe sections or hydrostatic differential used for level calculation. The device converts the two input pressures into one differential-pressure signal for the control system. Continuous ΔP monitoring helps operators identify changing process resistance, blocked elements or level variation without manually comparing two separate pressure gauges.
Direct Pipe Mount or Impulse Tube Connection Threaded pressure ports support direct mount or impulse tube connection. Flexible installation for different differential pressure points QDX50A can be installed directly on threaded pressure points or connected through impulse tubes. Direct mounting creates a compact arrangement when the two pressure connections are close to the transmitter, while impulse tubing allows measurement points to be located farther away or positioned around process equipment. Supporting both methods gives installers more freedom to work with the actual pipe layout and available space. The flexible connection options reduce custom mechanical work and make the same transmitter suitable for different differential-pressure installations.
For Differential Pressure & Level Control Converts differential pressure into standard output signals. Easy access to process control, HVAC and level systems QDX50A converts differential pressure into a standard output for process control, HVAC monitoring or level systems. The receiving PLC, display meter or controller can use the signal to track filter condition, airflow resistance, liquid level or other applications based on the difference between two pressures. This provides a single, continuous measurement instead of requiring separate sensors and manual subtraction. The result is easier system integration, clearer alarm setting and more practical automatic control based on real-time differential-pressure data.
