Explosion-Proof Temperature Sensor
The explosion-proof temperature sensor series is designed for temperature measurement in industrial environments where explosive gases or vapors may be present. Its flameproof construction is available with explosion-proof markings ExdIIBT4 and dIICT5, and the product documentation references IEC 60079 and GB 3836 standards. The series includes explosion-proof thermocouples and resistance temperature detectors for different industrial measurement requirements. With a protective junction box and armored probe construction, these sensors are suitable for temperature monitoring in petroleum, petrochemical, metallurgical and power industry applications where appropriate explosion-proof equipment is required.
The explosion-proof temperature sensor series offers two sensing technologies to cover different industrial temperature measurement requirements. The thermocouple series provides a measurement range of -40°C to 1600°C, making it suitable for high-temperature applications. The resistance temperature detector (RTD) series covers -200°C to 500°C and is designed for applications requiring RTD-based temperature measurement. By selecting the appropriate sensing technology, engineers can match the sensor to the required operating temperature range and process conditions. This product family supports temperature monitoring across petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, power generation and other industrial sectors.
The explosion-proof temperature sensor series is available in plug-in, cold-junction and threaded configurations to accommodate different industrial installation requirements. The plug-in design supports direct insertion into the measured medium, while the cold-junction configuration helps protect the junction box and internal transmitter from high temperatures. The threaded design provides a practical connection option for pipes and equipment. Optional protective sleeves are also available in different structural forms to suit operating conditions. By selecting the appropriate configuration, engineers can match the sensor design to the process connection, installation environment and temperature measurement requirements of their applications.
