For high-temperature media (120℃), use high-temperature pressure/level transmitters with radiators or capillary tubes, resistant up to 300℃+.

	For corrosive media, choose transmitters with Hastelloy C‑276, Monel, titanium, or PTFE‑lined diaphragms. Non-contact ultrasonic or radar level meters are also recommended.

How to choose the range of a pressure transmitter and what safety margin is required?

Accepted Answer

To ensure stability and service life, select a range 1.21.5 times the actual working pressure. For pulsating, impact, or water-hammer conditions, use 2 times the working pressure. Reserve at least 20% margin for normal working conditions and 50% or more for high-pressure or fluctuating environments.
