GLG Signal Isolator
Stable signal transfer in high-interference PLC/DCS sites
GLG uses independent isolation between the input, output and power sections, with isolation strength up to 2500V AC/1min. This structure keeps the field signal path separated from the receiving side and the supply circuit, which is especially useful in PLC and DCS cabinets with dense wiring and multiple power sources. By limiting electrical interaction between the three sections, the module helps reduce interference-related signal instability and supports more dependable analog transmission. The result is a cleaner signal path, fewer unexplained reading fluctuations and more reliable data delivery to the control system.
Reduce cabinet modules and simplify signal distribution
GLG combines signal isolation, transmitter power distribution and multi-channel signal splitting in one module. A field transmitter can be powered from the isolator while its signal is converted and routed to PLCs, DCS systems, display meters or recorders. Available channel arrangements such as 1-in/1-out, 1-in/2-out, 1-in/3-out, 1-in/4-out, 2-in/2-out and 2-in/4-out make the module easier to match to different cabinet layouts. Integrating these functions reduces the number of separate modules, shortens wiring paths and simplifies later maintenance of the signal distribution system.
Reliable data transfer to PLC, DCS, meters or control rooms
GLG provides ≤0.1% F.S accuracy, ≤10ms response and low temperature drift for stable analog signal transmission. Fast response allows the receiving system to follow process changes without excessive delay, while the stated accuracy and temperature stability help maintain consistent readings during long operating periods. This is valuable when signals must travel from field instruments to PLCs, DCS platforms, display meters or control rooms. By delivering a faster and more stable output, the module supports dependable monitoring, clearer trend data and more efficient troubleshooting when abnormal readings appear.
