GLK Smart Signal Isolator
One unified module series fits a wider range of field instrument requirements.
The GLK Smart Signal Isolator is engineered to support a comprehensive range of industrial inputs, including standard analog current, voltage, and digital RS485 communication signals. By consolidating these capabilities into a single, versatile product series, facility managers and system integrators can effectively address diverse field instrument requirements without sourcing multiple disparate converter models. This broad compatibility proves highly advantageous in complex automation projects where analog transmitters, voltage-output sensors, and digital communication devices coexist within the same control architecture.
Ensures seamless matching with PLCs, DCS, panel meters, and acquisition modules.
To ensure seamless integration with various receiving systems, the GLK series provides flexible output configurations tailored for different control setups. This versatility is critical for engineers tasked with matching isolators to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and remote data acquisition modules. The active current output is designed to directly drive a receiving loop, eliminating the need for external power sources on the output side. Conversely, the passive current output is ideal for integrating with externally powered acquisition equipment, while the DC voltage output easily connects to standard voltage-input terminals.
In high-density industrial control cabinets, rapid fault identification is essential for minimizing costly operational downtime. The GLK Smart Signal Isolator features highly visible PWR (Power) and ALM (Alarm) LED status indicators, providing maintenance personnel with immediate, at-a-glance verification of module power and input conditions. During initial system commissioning or routine fault inspections, technicians can instantly determine whether the unit is receiving adequate power and whether an input signal anomaly or out-of-range alarm is present—all without the need to disconnect signal loops or manually probe individual terminal blocks.
