Ultra-slim Body Saves Cabinet Space Install more channels in the same cabinet space The 12.5mm and 18mm housing options of GLN are designed for high-density DIN rail installation. In control cabinets where many analog loops must be isolated, conventional wider modules quickly consume available rail space and may force the use of a larger enclosure. Optical Isolation for Reliable Signal Transfer GLN transmits the electrical signal through optical isolation, separating the input, output and power-related sections of the signal path. Optical coupling helps reduce direct electrical interaction between field wiring and the receiving side, which is useful in cabinets containing motors, switching power supplies or other potential interference sources. The isolated path supports more stable transfer of analog signals while limiting unwanted coupling between circuits. |  |
Flexible Current & Voltage Signal Options GLN supports common current and voltage standards including 4–20mA, 0–20mA, 0–5V and 0–10V. These options cover many transmitter outputs and PLC, DCS or industrial meter inputs, allowing the module to be selected for both current-loop and voltage-loop applications. A consistent housing and wiring style across the different signal versions makes cabinet design easier to standardize. |  |
